'License not found' message seen when running LiveUpdate from Unlicensed Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.7 server

Message "License not found" seen when running LiveUpdate from Unlicensed Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.7 server after installing Symantec System Center and Symantec AntiVirus server (without rebooting) to Windows 2003. After rebooting Windows 2003 the message "License not found" no longer presents itself. This issue only happens when using Symantec AntiVirus/Symantec System Center 10.1.7 from the Symantec AntiVirus 10.2 package.


 


Solution
