You have Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) installed on your Windows Clustered servers and you need to know what files or folders should be excluded as a best practice.

Follow the guidelines laid out by Microsoft for exclusions to clustered servers. At minimum, ensure that you exclude these locations from virus scanning:

  • Q:\ (Quorum drive)
  • C:\Windows\Cluster

If you are also running Microsoft SQL Server, you should refer to the additional recommendations as outlined by Microsoft.
