Problem
The error message "No response from any 3rd party server" shows in the Integrated DHCP Integrated Enforcer Plugin 11.x Client Log, and client machines are getting blocked from the network.
Cause
This error occurs when the Enforcer is configured to use a Network Access Control (NAC) Scanner, and no NAC servers can be contacted by the Enforcer.
Solution
The Network Access Control Scanner is a separate product which can be installed on the network to provide unprotected machines access through the Enforcer, provided that they pass a vulnerability scan performed by the NAC Scanner.
If a NAC Scanner is not used on the network then disable the option in the Integrated Enforcer GUI
- Go to "Configure" - "Network Access Control Scanner" in the Integrated Enforcer GUI.
- Uncheck the option "Turn on NAC Scanner", and press Save.
If a NAC Scanner is installed on the network
- Check that the NAC Scanner IP address and the Preshared secret (Encryption key) has been entered correctly in the Integrated Enforcer GUI.
- Troubleshoot the connectivity between the NAC Scanner and the Enforcer
