Troubleshooting "Service Unavailable" in Reporting technology.
"Service unavailable" on Home Tab.
This error is typically related to issues in the IIS Application Pool. Since the Reporting site is considered an application within IIS, it is associated with a memory address space called an application pool. Within IIS, Applications can share a common memory pool, or they can have their own. Note: SEPM uses the Default Application Pool by default. For troubleshooting a Service Unavailable error, it is best to start with troubleshooting the application pool. To do this, open the IIS Manager console. Expand the Server, Application Pools icons. Verify that the necessary application pool(s) for SEPM are started.
In addition, it is also advisable to check the permissions associated with the user Identity assigned in the application pool. It is recommended to the predefined Network Service account for permissions.
