Issue



Launching the SEPM Console fails with an error message: Unable to access jarfile C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tomcat\webapps\scm\clientpkg\scm-ui.jar

Symptoms
4 Files are missing in C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tomcat\webapps\scm\clientpkg

scm-ui.jar
scm-ui-res.jar
scm-common.jar
scm-common-res.jar

 


Solution



Run repair installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to resolve the issue.
 

  1. Goto Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
  2. Select Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and click Modify.
  3. Click Repair to repair SEPM
