You need to use Ghost to clone a UNIX drive or partition.
Symantec Ghost versions 6.0 and later, and Norton Ghost 2001 and later support the cloning of Linux EXT2 partitions. Symantec Ghost 7.5 and later, and Norton Ghost 2003 support Linux EXT2 and EXT3 partitions.
Other UNIX or Linux partition types are not supported and will only be cloned on a sector-by-sector basis.
Norton Ghost 2000 Personal Edition (5.1d) and versions of Norton Ghost prior to 6.0 do not support UNIX or Linux partitions.
