You have ON Command CCM agent computers that are experiencing a Windows blue screen stop error, or automatic restart (as a result of the system stop error configuration). The file smefs.sys is referenced in the associated core dump. This typically happens when you log on to Windows.
The smefs.sys file is a filesystem level driver that is responsible for locking the _integra folder on client systems where the ON Command CCM Agent Is installed. It was introduced with CCM version 4.6. On computers that are using NTFS, the smefs.sys driver is not required and may be causing a timing issue or thread execution conflict. This is also seen when memory intensive real-time protection antivirus engines are still executing threads in the _integra folder.
As a workaround for this issue on NTFS systems, disable the smefs driver as explained in the document Disabling the smefs file protection smesys driver.
