Problem

Symantec LiveState Recovery is installed, and you see one of the following error messages:

Solution

In most cases, the Symantec LiveState Recovery 3.03 update fixes these problems. Contact Symantec Technical Support to obtain the Symantec LiveState Recovery 3.03 update. For more information about the Symantec LiveState Recovery 3.03 update, read Software Change Notice - Symantec LiveState Recovery 3.03.

As an alternative, you can also use the IP address for the remote computer, rather than the computer name, as in the following example:

\\192.168.0.10\shared folder\

Note: In a workgroup environment, you must add the computer name to the authentication dialog, even if the client and server accounts are the same.
