How to apply the latest update
You do not need to uninstall Symantec LiveState Recovery 3.x to apply the latest update. However, if V2i Protector is installed, the program must be uninstalled before you apply the latest update.

To install the latest update for Symantec LiveState Recovery on the Console or Agent computer, run setup and then select Upgrade to proceed with the installation. After the upgrade has finished, restart the computer.

Another option to install the latest update is to upgrade the Console computer first, and then deploy the Agent. A restart of the computer is required after the update.
