Issue

Your clients are connected to the console and you have an AI task that is pushed successfully to your wired clients, but fails to push to your wireless connected systems.

NOTE: Wireless connections to Clients are not supported or recommended, however below are some suggestions that may or may not work.

Cause

The default settings for an AI package deployment are multicast. Your wireless equipment is not configured to support or may not be able to be configured to support multicast.

Solution

Contact your wireless equipment provider to for innformation about changing the settings to support multicast.

Alternatively, you can change the settings of your AI push to use unicast. To do this, follow the below steps.

      1. Open the Ghost console and select the AI task that you are trying to deploy.
      2. Right click on this task and left click Properties.
      3. Select the Network tab on the top of the task.
      4. Select the Data transfer mode box.
      5. Select the Unicast radio button.
      6. Re-execute your task.

Note: If multicasting is blocked on your wired or wireless network, the above steps may allow you to deploy your AI packages without resolving the network's multicasting limitations.
