When you try to export a NetRecon report to HTML format, you see the Dr. Watson error "ReconReporter.e.exe ... Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: 0x77f64d8a ".
Symantec is aware of this problem, and there is no solution at this time. We will continue to track this problem, and this document will be updated if new information becomes available or a solution is found.
As a workaround, export the NetRecon report to a different format, such as MS Word.
When NetRecon exports a Crystal Report report to .html format, it uses a Crystal Reports 7 .dll in conjunction with the Crystal Reports 8 package, not the Crystal Reports 8 .dll. This can create a conflict between NetRecon and third-party products that use the Crystal Reports 8 .dll (usually the third-party product overwrites the version 7 .dll file).
