Here is the list of the ports being used:

MQE SQE Named pipes (137,138,139) Data Collection (job results)
MQE ECS IP:single port (user defined) Retrieve list of query engines
MQE MQE IP:single port (user defined) Submit jobs and receive results
MQE Support Service Named pipes (137,138,139) Collect cached last logon information
SQE MQE IP:single port (user defined) 1. Startup notification.
2. Shut down notification.
3. Job completion notification
ECS MQE IP:single port (user defined) Synchronization request
DCA (on SQE) MQE IP:single port (user defined) Submit jobs and receive results
DCA (on SQE) ECS IP:single port (user defined) Retrieve list of query engines




Note: If Bindview is collecting information from machines in the same domain (with no firewall) then the following ports are used:
135-139 - RPC Ports (Communications between QEs and BVIS, ECS, and target machines)
1433 - SQL Port (Communication between Remote Client console and the BVIS)
389 - LDAP port (Communication between MQE and AD to get AD related information

Note: all the ports should be opened bidirectionally
