Problem

Symptoms
Error during installation "Number:0x80040707 Description: DLL function call crashed: InstallShieldHelper.ADDUserToGroup"
- Occurs at the beginning of the installation for RMS Console v.8.0.
Cause
Microsofts Small Business Server 2003 R2 is not certified for use with the following versions of RMS Console: RMS Console 8.0 (no service pack) RMS Console 8.0 SP1 RMS Console 8.0 SP2, or RMS Console 8.0 SP3
Solution
Install the console on a supported operating system such as:
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000 SP3 (server or workstation)
- Windows XP® Professional SP1 or later
- Windows Server™ 2003 SP1 or SP2
