How are enhancement requests handled for CCS?
Enhancement requests are accepted from customers only for products in the development pipeline. Requests are not accepted for products in sustaining development.
Symantec Technical Support is intended to assist customers with issues resulting from the normal use of our software products on supported platforms. Support will also provide answers to questions about usage of our products. Any enhancement or feature requests fall outside our normal scope of support and should be reported to your Sales rep.
While there is no estimated time or guarantee that your request will be integrated into future product releases, please know that it will be considered during the research phase of our product development lifecycle and will be added to our product marketing database for tracking. At that point, your technical support case will be closed and archived.
