Problem
Solution
If a domain account password changes, the password will need to be reset in the following location relating to the RMS Console and bv-Control products.
Credential Database:
Anywhere the account is used in the credential database, the password will need to be changed for all products it is associated with.
Query Engine service:
If the account is used as the query engine service account, it will need to be changed on each query engine computer for the “Bindview Query Engine” service.
Scheduled Jobs:
If the account was used in the creation of a scheduled task or a scheduled query, modify the schedule, and enter the new password for the user’s account.
Export Settings:
In the RMS Console User Manager, modify the affected user’s account and click on the Export Settings tab. Re-enter the password in the “Unattended Export Credential” box.
