Problem
Where do I get the Cumulative Hotfix (CHF) and readme files ? What do the Cumulative Hotfix (CHF) fix? ( SEE README for the specific CHF )
Symptoms
The Health and Status Report old version of CHF.
Would like to stay up to date on all updates.
Solution
To obtain updates;
Follow these steps to download the latest CHFs for Data:
- Go to ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/symantec_control_compliance_suite/9.0/updates/data_collectors/ for Data Collections
- Go to ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/symantec_control_compliance_suite/9.0/updates/reporting_analytics/ for Reporting and Analytics
- Select the file by one left click
- Right click and choose copy to folder.
- Be aware that some files are the exe files others are the pdf readme files. Zip files include readme files after the file has been downloaded and unzipped.
