You receive the error "File with key located at "any file"could not be compressed. This may be a temporary file location. Make sure file "any file" has a source path."
Generally, this error occurs if the file is no longer on the development machine or the source path for the location referenced in the WiseSourcePath table is incorrect. Another possible cause is that the directory containing the files is marked read-only.
To resolve this error message, search your hard drive to determine the file's location, then update the source path of the file to match the correct location. This is most easily done using the Files page of Installation Expert. Once the source path points to the file, the .MSI will compile without this error.
If these files don't exist on your machine and the original .WSI was created using SetupCapture, Smart Monitor may have detected files loaded into memory that were never installed permanently by the original installation. Remove the files from the installation or re-do the SetupCapture.
Additionally, when SetupCapture is used, there is an option to detect files deleted during installation. Remove these file references if they exist or re-do the SetupCapture.
If the source folder is marked read only, then unmark the read only for the compilation.
