Error 1053: service did not respond

Trying to start the pcAnywhere Agent service and receive error "1053: service did not respond"
Please ensure you are at the latest build of the solution.
The policy file have become damaged.
Navigate to C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Client Policies and deleted the xml files.
Then open the Agent Settings and click “Update” so the client gets updated policy files.
