Problem
Unix basic inventory is returning invalid IP Addresses on HP-UX systems.
Environment
NS Agent for Unix 6.2
Cause
The Agent for Unix version 6.2 does not support IPv6. The standard output of the command used to gather ip information is different for interfaces configured for IPv6.
Solution
Notification Server 7 provides support for IPv6.
On NS6, a possible workaround is to disable the IPv6 configuration on the affected client machines.
