KNOWN ISSUE:Restart Altiris Agent task fails to complete (return code = 1060)

Problem
Restart Altiris Agent task fails to complete (return code = 1060). Task Server correctly sends the Restart Altiris Agent task off to the client. However, the agent never starts (Status =Failed) and returns the code = 1060.
Steps to reproduce:
- Schedule ‘Restart Altiris Agent’ on the SMP 7.0 SP4 agent.
- The client task receives the task and the Altiris Agent logs shows …..Task: ‘Restart Altiris Agent’ has started/finished…
Environment
Tested on both x86 (Win2k3-SP2) & x64 machines (Win2k3-SP2)
Solution
Workaround:
- Create a script task script that spawns a second script. (The script task script does not wait for completion of the spawned script before returning.)
- The second script performs the service restart for 'AeXNSClient'.
