Changes made to a cloned Inventory policy affect the original policy and vice versa.

For examples if you clone the “Collect Full Inventory” policy and make a change to the cloned policy such as un-checking all of the “types of inventory to gather” checkboxes EXCEPT “File properties…”  Upon saving the cloned policy, the original “Collect Full Inventory” policy will be updated to only show the “File properties…”  checkbox being checked.

This is a known issue. 

7.0 workaround:  Create a new inventory policy rather than cloning an existing one.

This has been resolved in SMP 7.1
