After logging into the Servicedesk console(Process Manager) reports and view are getting the error "“Error occurred displaying report” or you may see Permission errors in the Ensemble logs.
Servicedesk MR1 and earlier, or Workflow 7 SP1 or Earlier.
There is a master reference table which stores all the assigned permissions. If at any time there is a problem updating this table those updates will not complete correctly and leave the permission orphaned or missing.
Download the attached zip file, extract the 2 SQL scripts and run them against the Servicedesk/Workflow database. Please note that it does not matter which script is ran first. Please note that running the procedures the first time does nothing more than alter the procedure definition in the database. For the permissions to be reset, and actually adjusted, the stored proc must be executed. Inside of SQl Manangement Studio, simply right-click on the name of the procedure, and select "Execute Stored Procedure..."
For reference, the two procedures affected are
SP_UserReferenceIDLookup.sql - This resets permissions for all users and groups
SP_UserReferenceIDLookupWithReferenceID.sql - This resets specific group or USERID permissions only.StoredProceedure.zip
