MOBILE DEVICES - Cannot compile Pocket PC or Smartphone installations

Problem
When trying to compile an installation that builds a PocketPC or Smartphone installation, you recieve the error:
"Failed to create mobile device Install. See WiseErr.txt located at "c:\path\to\install" for more information."
The file WiseErr.txt reads:
"Error: CAB file <path to CAB file> could not be created."
Environment
Wise for Windows Installer 6.x, Enterprise Edition
Wise Package Studio 6.x
Cause
Cabwiz.exe is unable to handle UNC paths.
Solution
Save (and compile) the PocketPC or Smartphone installation using a non-UNC path.
