Problem
During an archiving run, an Event ID 6592, "Abnormal error occurred Reference: GOPV/dt" is reported for certain e-mail items.
Prior to Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP4 the problematic messages will not archive. For Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP4 and later the problematic messages do get archived.
Solution
When attempting to archive e-mail items, an Event ID 6592, "Abnormal error occurred," may be reported in the Enterprise Vault event log.
Additionally, a D-Trace of the StorageArchive process may report these errors:
