Installation
- Can not update RAWS via Push unless media server type matches remote server type.
- Installing HF improperly changes several registry keys.Backup/Restore/Duplicate Jobs.
-NLS: backup template is lost if the name includes Japanese character.
-recycling services alter schedule type if job name contains Japanese characters.

-Incremental modified time based backup will behave like a full backup, after adding a mount point (For more details, please refer to this document:http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH52660 )
-If a job is modified 24 hours after it has been submitted, the schedule for that job may be rescheduled for a future date. (For more details, please refer to this document: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH52741)
-A job could be incorrectly scheduled if the services are cycled around the job's time window.
-DFSR Writer Backup Crashing remote agent.
-Synthetic backup misses some files and folders with double-byte count properties.
-Restore of System State backup taken using Full - Copy files method with encryption crashes the Remote Agent for Windows Server.
-(IBM LTO3) not notifying of expired cleaning media in Autoloader or Library.
-Though successful, a policy-based duplicate is not including all the sets from the associated backup job.
-MaxRpcDatablockSize default setting has been increased.
-Cannot restore from a duplicate set when source set used software compression and encryption is enabled.
-Memory leak in the Backup Exec Server service.
-Backup Exec Server service will crash intermittently when submitting a job through BEMCMD.
-Backup Exec Engine crashes at start of Duplicate Job.
-Duplicate display of SharePoint resources in CASO/MMS environment.
-Remote Agent terminates during concurrent backups with encryption enabled.
-Job Engine Crashes when running Open File Option Backups using Remote Agent for NetWare.
-Unable to fast catalog retired/imported media if software encryption is used.
-Multiple duplicate jobs running at the same time can cause BEServer.exe to crash.
-CRC failures during restoring data streams are not being logged and job ends as a success.

If a backup selection contains a mount point having long pathname, "Backup Exec Job Engine" might terminate unexpectedly (For more details,please refer to this document: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH66987 )
- Changes made to the device priority setting will not stay, and will revert to the default setting or 10, when the Backup Exec GUI is unloaded or closed. (For more details, please refer to this document: http://support.veritas.com/docs/288173)
Microsoft Exchange Agent
- Email messages are restored with a blank body (non-MAPI client or SMTP).
- NLS: Exchange mail message got garbled after GRT restore.
- Duplicate to Tape failed after successful backup Exchange 2003 with GRT to B2d
- Exchange mail messages garbled after GRT restore.
- GRT: All granular restore selections are missing when backing up to tape.
- GRT: Access denied on B2D backups or restore from tape from an x64 bit media server
- Media Server beremote crashes during Exchange and CPS backup.
- Exchange GRT Backup to Disk - A communications failure has occurred between the Backup Exec job engine and the remote agent
- Exchange - Differential snapshot backup job has delays between each storage group being backed up
- Exchange GRT - Duplicate jobs from disk to tape take an excessive amount of time to complete
- Exchange - Memory leak in beremote during legacy mailbox backups
- Exchange GRT - Memory leak while backing up Exchange data
- After applying HF22, Exchange 2007 VSS backups are no longer possible
- No mailbox restore selections for Incremental Exchange B2D backups
- Decryption has failed for the file Mailbox Store - "HandlePDIOutofSpace" in debug
- Decryption has failed for the file Log files. (Non-GRT).
- EXCH07: Redirected restores to file and RSG fails if the backed up mailbox database(s)and logs are located in mountpoints.
- Catalogs: [Symantec][Backup Exec Catalog Driver]() Error while expanding some of my Exchange GRT selections.
- Allows Differential or Incremental Backups of Exchange or SQL to fail as they should if a Backup Exec System Recovery Full VSS (Volume Shadow Copy) Backup is performed first.

Microsoft SQL Agent
- SQL 2005 restore from duplicate: RESTORE detected an error on page (0:0) in database "database" as read from the backup set.
- Allows Differential or Incremental Backups of Exchange or SQL to fail as they should if a Backup Exec System Recovery Full VSS (Volume Shadow Copy) Backup is performed first.

- When backing up a SQL database, and error stating that "The Backup Exec SQL Agent was not used to create the last full backup of this database."

Microsoft Active Directory Agent
- AD: Backup of ADAM fails with a VFF error, Open Thread Token failed, last error = 000003F0
Intelligent Disaster Recovery
- IDR is not able to detect TOE NICs
- IDR: RAWS can crash during DR file creation in certain circumstances
- IDR of a Dell PowerEdge 2950 failed to install LSI SAS 5/i controller and Broadcom Nic's
- BEDRWIZ.INI is not overwritten upon Hotfix application if the copy of the system has a more recent date.
- Unable to boot from an IDR CD
- IDR loads XP driver when recovering a Windows 2000 Server
- No devices found when using the Emulex Full Port driver
- HP NC373i and NC370i TOE NIC driver not detected by IDR

Central Administration Server
- Jobs on CAS are going into status "Recovered"
- MEDIA Duplicated repeatedly in DB and marked with ?
- MSGQ send message if exceeds max size will cause buffer overflow.
- Media Used info is not showing up in Job History on CAS but does on MMS
- After cycling services, communication between the CAS and MMS will be disrupted.
- CASO: Backup Exec Job Engine (bengine.exe) fails on multiple media servers after high memory utilization occurs.
Desktop/Laptop Option
- Installing HF's improperly changes DLO\Agent\setup.ini file
- When starting the DLO Agent when the computer isn't connected to the network will cause the agent to fail to load. (For more details, please refer to these documents: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH51376 and http://support.veritas.com/docs/288067)
- DLO: After upgrading from 10d to 11.1.7170 the DLO Admin Service will not start.
Oracle Agent
- SAP Cluster backups are failing with "GetVirtualComputerName: Failed to read registry. Error code 234"
- Oracle restore selections are not populated in the Disaster Recovery (DR) scenario
- Oracle RMAN backups are failing with error: ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file
Lotus Domino Agent
- Lotus Belnapi instance logs are not getting generated.
- LOTUS: After one complete backup, subsequent backups hang or fail until RAWS is stopped and restarted.
- Lotus Notes: Restore fails with an error if domino transaction logging is set to circular or linear mode.
- Lotus Notes backup jobs fail with error 1181(UCJ items deleted).
- Unable to see the Lotus Domino Icon in backup selections when Domino Server is installed in a Microsoft Active-Active Cluster.
- No Domino databases appear under a Domino mail data sub folder in backup selections.
- Domino databases are not included in a backup or browse of backup selections.
- Domino databases show as corrupt or skipped in a backup job after backing up a large number.
- Long database file name in Asian language would be skipped when using Agent for Lotus Domino
- Lotus Domino databases do not appear in Backup Exec for Windows Servers backup selections or backups

Backup Exec Command Line Utility (BEMCMD)
- When using the -o90 option to backup system state or shadow copy components, if AOFO isn't installed, the job fails. (For more details, please refer to this document: www.symantec.com/docs/TECH51433 )
- 'BEMCMD -o90' command might restore data to the wrong drive (hard disk partition) if other drive has the same folder structure

DB2 Agent
