Problem

When using remote agent installer the default settings for the agent will always include "Encrypt session communication with Deployment Server" under the 'Security' tab being checked.

This will remain checked even if the Default Agent settings are turned on and adjusted to not include this setting in the 'Tools/options' under the 'Agent Settings' tab.

Environment

Deployment Solution 6.9 SP3 and SP4.

Remote Agent installer utility (default agent settings).

Cause

Currently unknown.

Solution

This is officially working as deisgned. A workaround can be found at TECH170249.
