Problem
Error E1AD3212: "You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation. See help for more information about security settings" occurs when opening Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR) or Symantec System Recovery (SSR).

E1AD3212: You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation. See help for more information about security settings.
Solution
To resolve this issue:
Add the logged on user to the Security Configuration Tool:
1. Click Start > Programs > Symantec > Security Configuration Tool >
2. Click on "Add." click on the logged on user account and add it to the Security Configuration Tool.
Restart the Backup Exec System Recovery or Symantec System Recovery Agent Service:
1. Click Start > Run
2. Type in "services.msc" without the quotes <press enter>
3. Right click on Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery service or Symantec System Recovery and select "Restart"
Please note: If managing remote computers, be sure the logged on user account (at the console machine) exists in the Security Configuration Tool on each client machine. This will occur automatically if the agent has been pushed out from the console.
