'Error E98F0032' is seen when attempting to mount recovery point when source volume is 1TB or larger with Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR).


Error



When attempting to mount a recovery point of a 1TB (or larger) volume with Backup Exec System Recovery (BESR), error E98F0032 is seen (Figure 1).

The same recovery point can be opened using the Granular Restore Option (GRO). However, an error is seen when attempting to expand the file system of this large volume (Figure 2).
