This report checks to see if Backup Exec debugging features have been left enabled.
While debugging is a very important part of the Backup Exec troubleshooting process, it shouldn't be left enabled for the following reasons:
While debugging is a very important part of the Backup Exec troubleshooting process, it shouldn't be left enabled for the following reasons:
- Additional disk space is used while debugging is enabled.
- Backup & Restore jobs will run slower as a result of debugging.
Do not disable the debugging while actively working on a case with Technical Support unless instructed to do so.
