The following return code is displayed in the Task Execution by Computer report for failed Software delivery tasks:
Notification Server 6.0.5287
Patch Management Solution 6.1.2369
Failed Software Delivery task list the following return code -1073741502.
In at least one case, the return code was caused by a non-silent installation program that needed a reboot at the end of the install. The dialog popped up asking the user if he or she wanted to reboot. The user chose yes. This caused the computer to shutdown prior to returning control to the Software Delivery agent for a return code of "0", even though all software in the job was delivered and installed correctly. If he or she had chosen no, then the return code would have been 0. At that point, add this code as a success code in the package's programs. The entry for success codes is now "0,-1073741502 " (without quotes).
The return code needs to be converted to hex -1073741502 -----> C000013A. The converted return code can then be searched for on the Internet.
STOP c0000142 (DLL Initialization Failed) initialization of the dynamic link library C:\winnt\system32\user32.dll failed the process is terminating abnormally.
