Error



0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.

Unable to complete the operation for the selected resource using the specified options.  The following error was returned when opening the Exchange Database file:  'JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown This error is obsolete and has been replaced by JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown. '


Beremote log from the backup media server shows;

[1112] 05/06/10 15:11:24       OPEN DATABASE FAILED: JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown This error is obsolete and has been replaced by JET_errDatabaseDirtyShutdown.



Solution



Workaround:

Uninstall Backup Exec Hotfix 337202 from add/remove programs.

This issue has been resolved in the following hotfix and will be included in service packs released after Sp4 (if any) and the newer release versions of Backup Exec.
