Problem
BUG REPORT: SharePoint Recovery Assistant (SPSRecoveryAsst.exe) crashes when attempting to recover Web Application.
Solution
Bug: 1996352
Detail/Symptom(s): When attempting to restore an entire Web Application from a SharePoint GRT enabled backup, the SPSRecoveryAsst.exe throws an exception and crash dump when the restore is initiated at the restore nbwin GUI. The restore job does not start.

Workaround:
Expand the Web Application and select all Content-DBs. Then, the restore should complete successfully.

Symantec has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Symantec is committed to product quality and satisfied customers.
This issue is currently scheduled to be addressed in NetBackup 7.0.1.
