Jobs appear as ''Ready; Job destination does not contain any eligible devices'' in the Job Monitor even though drives are available.

Ready; Job destination does not contain any eligible devices

Solution



Status of the backup job shows as: "Ready; Job destination does not contain any eligible devices"

 

Resolution:
Make sure the targeted device is enabled and online

 

If the devices is not online then right click on the device and select Enable

 

The backup job will go in the running status
