Version Upgrade Notification

Dear Valued Symantec Customer,

We are pleased to announce the release of Control Compliance Suite 10.0. As a customer with current maintenance/support on a previous version of this product, you are entitled to this new release as part of your maintenance/support subscription for supported licenses.

Because you have a current maintenance/subscription agreement for this product, you are entitled to upgrade to the new release free of charge.

Please note that this notification is a product release notice and not a maintenance/support renewal notice. We are sending you this notification based on our records, which indicate that you have a current maintenance/support agreement with Symantec. You are only authorized to use this release to update software copies for which you have a current maintenance/support agreement.


Support Timeline for previous versions of the product
Symantec Corporation will End of Life (“EOL”) the earlier releases of these products including any Maintenance Packs (MPs) and/or patches for each version, in all released languages. This notice describes the timelines for the delivery of support services for these products that have reached their EOL.

End of Life:As of June 7, 2010, Symantec Corporation is announcing the End of Life ("EOL") of the product(s) identified in this notification, including any Maintenance Packs and/or patches for each version, in all released languages. This notice describes the timelines for the delivery of support services for these products that have reached their EOL.

End of Availability: End of Availability will be June 7, 2011 (December 7, 2010 for Internet Security). At this time no additional product licenses will be available for purchase.

End of Standard Support: Symantec will end standard support including engineering modifications where applicable, for customers with current support subscriptions on December 7, 2012 (June 7, 2011 for Internet Security).

End of Support Life: As of December 7, 2015, Symantec will cease providing any and all levels of standard support or partial support, for all versions of Symantec Control Compliance Suite (December 31, 2011 for Internet Security). No further purchases of support subscriptions will be accepted.

Registering your upgrade and obtaining your software

You must register this new release on the Symantec Licensing Portal in order to receive your activation keys or files. You will also be able to obtain your software at this time.

Please follow these instructions for registering your product on the Symantec Licensing Portal:
1. Go to https://licensing.symantec.com
2. Returning customers Login. New users must Create an Account first.
3. After logging in, select the ‘Version Upgrade’ button.
4. Enter your upgrade notification ID provided to you in your Version Upgrade Notification and then click the ‘View Upgrades’ button.
5. Click the 'Upgrade' button for the product you wish to upgrade.
6. Select the licenses you would like to upgrade and click the 'Upgrade' button.
7. Verify contact information for the licenses you are upgrading and click the 'Complete Registration' button.
8. The licensing key will be provided on the next screen.
9. You may then click the 'Get Software' button to obtain your product.
