Your HP DC7900 computers running Windows 7 do not boot into the virtual partition even though you have updated your Ghost software to the latest version that supports Windows 7. You need to know how to resolve this issue.
When you run an imaging task on these client machines, they fail to boot into the virtual partition. The Ghost Console task fails with the error, "Failed to reboot to recovery partition".
A patch for Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.1 was released that corrects this problem. You can obtain this patch by contacting Symantec Technical Support at 800-634-4747 and refer to TECH131612
One of the files included in the patch (build 2269) is client.msi. To resolve the problem on the HP DC7900, you should uninstall the existing Ghost Client software and then reinstall the client using the 2269 build of client.msi.
