Does Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager function with different versions of SEP client?

Problem
Can Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) manage Symantec Endpoint Protection clients of a different version (older or newer)?
Solution
It is recommended that the same version be used in all situations, however, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager is backwards compatible with older versions of Symantec Endpoint Protection client.
Note: It is also possible to use an older version of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager than the client, for instance you could rollout SEP RU6 client while the manager is SEPM RU5.
