Problem
Can you use the "Enable as Unmanaged Detector" or the "Enable Network Threat Protection"/"Disable Network Threat Protection" commands on a Symantec Endpoint Protection for Macintosh ("SEP for Mac") client?
Solution
No. At this time the Symantec Endpoint Protection for Macintosh client does not support Network Threat Protection (NTP) or being enabled as an unmanaged detector. The command can be issued to the client, but it will not complete successfully.
