Issue

You have created a centralized exclusion for a folder or files and you need to scan them.

Symptoms
When you scan manually a folder or a file which was excluded it is not scanned.

Cause

On your server you have folders with files which you have excluded from being scanned by Autoprotect due to system performance reasons but in order to be sure that these files are not infected you want to scan them periodically with scheduled scan.

Solution

The centralized exclusion is excluding files from being scanned by both Autoprotect and Full scan. It is not possible to apply the centralized exclusion just to Autoprotect. Please create a shared folder, map it on a system which has a SEP client installed and define a full scan in order to scan the mapped shared folder according to required schedule.
