Problem
MainEngineThread is returning 1603, When deploying application through DS Also written to the log file is 1708, IS_Valid_Location = false
Environment
Windows 2003 server
XP
Using any installer tool to create MSI
Cause
Invalid Characters in the path ; | * ? < > ! # & $ ` , ' = ^ @"
Solution
Change path so that it is a Windows Installer valid path using standard ASCI characters.
