Problem
After capturing an image using sysprep, the image is deployed with the option "Prepared using sysprep" enabled. The default sysprep answer file is used. When the computer boots up, the sysprep process takes place, and after it completes the timezone is set to Pacific Time (timezone=004 in sysprep.inf).
Environment
Deployment Server 6.9 SP4
Cause
The timezone information is not being properly gathered from the database.
Solution
This issue is resolved in DS 6.9 SP5 MR3.
Workaround:
Once in production, create a "run script" task to execute the command: tzutil /s "Pacific Daylight Time" on the client machine
