When creating a new computer group within the Win32 console on an English language version of Windows Server with support for East Asian languages installed, the user is able to create group names using East Asian characters. However, once the Deployment console has been closed and reopened, the group names are composed of an alternate set of garbage characters.
Windows Server 2003 (English) with support for East Asian languages installed
SQL Server 2005 (English)
Deployment Server 6.9.453 (SP4)
The SQL database must allow the character set being used.
Install MSSQL with the appropriate character set.
