Technical Solution


Running the Windows Complaince reports and they time out. (KB 49652)


Running the Windows Compliance by Bulletin report and getting the following error: (KB 52126)

Description: Failure running Report 'Windows Compliance by Bulletin'. Please check the configuration of the query.





Exception Details: Altiris.DataSource.Exceptions.DataSourceRunException: An unexpected SQL error occurred when running the RawSqlDataSource. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Arithmetic overflow error converting float to data type numeric.


Running the Windows Compliance reports and there is no error thrown, but the Reports displays 'No Results Returned' (KB 52126)



Running the Windows Compliance reports and unable to right-click / View Vulnerable Computers. Process throws error directing to check the Logs.



Patch Management Solution for Windows 7.0 SP2.


The reports are unable to correctly process the data being returned.


Run the attached SQL, for they will update the Stored Procedures and allow the reports to run smoother and quicker. You will need to rename the following stored procedures first



spPMWindows_ComplianceByComputer     to     spPMWindows_ComplianceByComputer_OLD
spPMWindows_ComplianceByUpdate         to     spPMWindows_ComplianceByUpdate_OLD
spPMWindows_ComplianceByBulletin         to     spPMWindows_ComplianceByBulletin_OLD



If there are still time out issues, work through the resolution found on KB 49652.
