Problem
The Enterprise Vault (EV) Storage Service may fail to start if any Backup Exec Archiving Option (BEAO) vault store partitions (physical storage locations) are unavailable
Cause
This issue will occur after the Vault Store partitions are deleted.
Solution
1.Locate the actual physical location of the missing partition.
2.Execute the following query against the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database:
SELECT PARTITIONROOTPATH FROM ENTERPRISEVAULTDIRECTORY.DBO.PARTITIONENTRY
Note: This query will display a list of all known Enterprise Vault partition physical locations.
3.Manually change the invalid record to reflect the proper location.
4.Restart the Enterprise Vault Admin Service (this will restart all currently running Enterprise Vault services).
5.Start the Enterprise Vault Storage Service.
