Problem
Local Selections are missing from the Backup Job Properties Window
Error
Connection with server failed. Hit <F5>
Local drives are invisible in Backup Job Properties
Solution
1. Open Local Security Policy or Domain/Domain controller Security Policy from Administrative tools. A problem may be found, such as Figure 3. In case of Figure 3, remove Administrator from "Deny log on as a batch job".

2. Remove the account added under Deny logon as a batch job policy.
3. Restart all Backup exec services.
