Problem

In our logs, we keep seeing the following errors over and over:

BaseXmlHttpCallback Exception: System.Exception: An exception occurred while executing the request ---> System.Exception: System.Xml.XmlException: Unable to find node named "statusEvt". Found node "" instead

What does this mean?

Environment

All versions of 7.0, including MR4 Rollup v9

Cause

Unknown - this is being researched.

Solution

At this time, the error appears to be a red-herring and can be safely ignored. We're not sure yet where it's coming from, but we've noticed no actual functionality loss from this message as compared to systems without the error. It may be left-over code from an upgrade, or something else, but for the most part, unless it exactly correlates with another problem, it's probably NOT an issue.
