Problem
What is the maximum legal Cluster ID in VCS ?
Solution
llttab() man page describes:
set-cluster clusterID
sets the cluster ID. This command is needed only if
more than one cluster is sharing network hardware being used by LLT.
In this case, each cluster needs its own cluster ID (or, alternately a unique SAP),
so that they do not interfere with each other. Machines with different cluster IDs can
not communicate with each other. The default cluster ID is 0.
Answer:
After checking with VCS Engineering, we have confirmed that it is an unsigned character (0-255).
