Ports required for the DeDuplication option, including Client Side Deduplication

This article lists all Ports that are required for the Backup Exec DeDuplication option.
The following TCP ports need to be open in both directions:
- Ports required for client side deduplication: 10102, 10082, 10101, 10085, 10000
- Port required for PDDE classic: 10101
- Ports required for Direct Access:
- 10082 (spoold - Engine)
- 10102 (spad - Manager)
If a firewall is blocking any of these ports, Deduplication will not work correctly.To check if any other application is using these ports, refer to the Related Document below.
