Problem
Backup Exec Storage Provisioning Option (SPO): Job fails because Backup Exec is unable to create a backup-to-disk folder on the virtual disk
Error
The job failed with the following error: Backup Exec is unable to create a backup-to-disk folder on the virtual disk.
Solution
Cause/Explanation:
An unexpected failure occurred in the final state of configuring virtual disks in a Configure Storage Array or Configure Virtual Disk job, when Backup Exec was placing BE metadata on the OS volume.
Solution:
Run the job again later. If the same error occurs:

Solution:
Run the job again later. If the same error occurs:
1. Disable the virtual disk in Backup Exec
2. Go into Windows Disk Management
3. Delete the OS volume
4. The virtual disk will become "unconfigured" in Backup Exec and then can be reconfigured.
