This hotfix contains a critical fix for the Backup Exec Agent for Exchange server and Agent for Lotus Domino.


Affected versions
Backup Exec 2010 revision 2896 32bit Media Servers
Backup Exec 2010 revision 2896 x64bit Media Servers
Backup Exec 2010 revision 2896 32bit Agent for Windows Servers
Backup Exec 2010 revision 2896 x64bit Agent for Windows Servers

Prerequisites
- Administrative privileges are required to install this hotfix.

- Backup Exec 2010 Service Pack 1 must be installed before this hotfix can be installed. Service Pack 1 can be found here:www.symantec.com/docs/TECH136199

Post requisites

- A full backup is recommended after installing this hotfix.
- The IDR recovery media (the ISO created through the IDR Wizard) needs to be recreated after installing this hotfix.
- Remote Agent for Windows Servers will need to be updated after installing this hotfix.

Issue(s) resolved

- When backup of individual DAOS enabled notes database is done, the job backs up NLO files only upto a count of 65535.

- During partial server backup, trailing sequential NLO files are not backed up after missing NLO is found

- When adding an wildcard exclusion to the backup job as documented in the help file (**.exe for example), no files will backup.(For more details, please refer to this document:www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126313

- Exchange database file is missing from the successful Exchange backups, due to corruption in backup exec database. (For more details, please refer to this document:www.symantec.com/docs/TECH139990)
