There are hosts not being reported from the daily hosts discovery scan in Rik Automation Suite.


There are a few things that can cause this issue.

  • Verify the Firewalls on the hosts aren't blocking the scans.
  • Throttle down the bandwidth of the discovery scans. You can do this by going into the Discovery scan schedule and editing the scan.
  • If you have a very large number of hosts on the schedule, set the scan to be every few days or weekly rather than daily. This will allow the scan more time to scan the entire network instead of starting over before all the hosts are discovered.
